SOLUTION:
The Eliemental project’s targeted at migrants and other vulnerable groups.
One of the areas they focus on is the identification of social and cultural barriers to employment. They encourage self-employment and innovation within communities throughout the partner countries. They provide training to entrepreneurs, improvement of skills and qualifications and help them achieve social and personal fulfilment.

why it is
interesting

The project was created after a study of the needs of the participants and located the Community Access Points (CAPs) in order to reach the audience in their daily life.

IMPACT:
In the first year, in the UK nine businesses were created, plus 3 unemployed attained employment. From Greece, 6 new businesses were created. In Romania, 10 new businesses were set up. In Poland, 4 new businesses were created, while 6 participants attained employment.
