PROMOTERS:
The team is a combination of new comers and native Dutch people.
In collaboration with the Inclusion Cluster (with other five initiatives)Supported by many organizations and individuals, such as the COA (Centraal Orgaan opvang Asielzoekers) the municipality of Zaanstad, Kansfonds, Stroom Nederland.

Social inclusion.

SOLUTION:
They want to help refugees participate in Dutch communities as soon as they get there. This will allow them to build a local network and CV.
Through their online platform, NewBees helps refugees find voluntary positions with local non-profits. This supports social integration and adaptation to the job market at their destination.

why it is
interesting

They are filling in the gap before the refugees receive their documents, allowing them to work and becoming a part of the community, without wasting their time and skills.

IMPACT:
200 people that signed up with NewBees, 30 people received certification outlining the skills and talents they used and developed during their time volunteering.
