Refugees who seek jobs, training and networking opportunities.

Spaces for integration, networking and strengthening of their skills in order to access job opportunities or set up a business.

Refugee Company is a private company whose goal is to empower refugees, they aid them in building a strong network, develop a portfolio, and gain work experience. Their aim is to help them find a paid job or set up their own business.
They run a coffee corner, where they rent out a space for events and offer a screen-printing and a sewing workshop amongst other creative workshops.
They offer opportunities to gain work experience, for people interested in working in restaurants as cooks, hosts, or waiters/waitresses. They also offer opportunities to participate in short-term assignments from companies based on the participant’s skills or previous experience and match them with jobs or internships vacancies from their network.

why it is

The organisation is promoted by people with a migration background, in particular by refugees, who work to achieve the social and economic integration of other refugees in their host community.

Amongst the opportunities they have facilitated for refugees, they set up a team of 30 to design and hand-paint 4 banners for Rai Amsterdam, and a group of 3 Syrian electricians who will aid Sungevity in the installation of 226 solar panels on the roof of The Student Hotel.
